The Story

Hi, I’m Gina, the owner and maker at Wise Blends. I have been on a journey toward living in a healthy, chemical free home for the last 20 years. It all began quite suddenly when my second daughter was born in 2002 with significant unexpected cognitive and respiratory problems. I learned a lot about how things in our home could be effecting her. I started making changes in the products we used in our home, the furniture and textiles we purchased and the things we put on and in our bodies. Along the way I began making my own body products. I took several courses and incorporated what I learned about essential oils and infusing oils with medicinal plants and began to create my own salves, balms and soap for my family and friends. Wise Blends was born. All of the products here are as effective and natural as I can make them. I’m constantly working on new products to fill a need for myself or my family and I’m thrilled when others love them too. Because I am a Mom of girls and also a Special Needs Mom, Wise Blends donates a portion or its proceeds each year to organizations that support reproductive rights for Women or benefit the Special Needs community.
